Abstract submissions

Abstract submissions have now closed.

All accepted abstracts from the Joint Irish-UK Endocrine Meeting 2024 have now been published online in Endocrine Abstracts – a fully citable and open access collection of all the abstracts presented at the Meeting.

In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, the Abstract List will be available to access online and not in a printed format. Explore abstracts in Endocrine Abstracts - a permanent, fully citable website that's freely available to all without access restrictions.

Sharing your work at the Joint Irish-UK Endocrine Meeting 2024 is a fantastic opportunity to get useful feedback and ideas to progress your work as well as boosting your presentation and networking skills.

Abstracts are accepted on the understanding that the work has not been published or presented elsewhere, excluding associated Irish Endocrine Society and Society for Endocrinology events.

Accepted abstracts are presented at the Conference either as a poster or as an oral presentation. They will also be published online in Endocrine Abstracts – a fully open access and citable record of the abstracts presented at the Conference.

Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words (including numbers, symbols and tables) and you must select one category from the list below. The use of figures or photographs are not permitted.

We hope to attract a wide range of endocrine related research to this meeting to be shared and viewed by members of the field.

Conditions of acceptance

Abstracts are also accepted on the understanding that they will be presented at the meeting either as a poster or as an oral presentation. Any author failing to present an accepted abstract at this meeting will automatically be excluded from submitting any future abstracts.

The Programme Committee reserves the right of the final decision regarding acceptance of abstracts and the form of presentation.

Abstracts are marked blind (anonymously). Please note that the reviewing panel for abstracts submitted to the nursing category predominantly includes nurses.
